WE DID IT!!!!
The HIA crew traveled to Anaheim this year for our second appearance at WonderCon and this year was even better than the last.
We want to thank each and every one of you who came by our booth and watched the exclusive promo, took a photo with Walter and our booth babes, interviewed us or just asked what the show is all about.
We’re going to be posting up all of the WonderCon photos this week, so if you were there and got a photo taken, look for that to be up very, very soon.
In the meantime here’s an awesome photo of our zombie mascot, Walter with the lovely Felicia Day.
Last week the HIA cast and crew headed up into the Santa Cruz mountains near Los Gatos, CA to shoot the pilot episode.
After three 12 hour days and three craze-filled nights, we have emerged from the mountains with enough behind-the-scenes footage to choke a zombie or two.
Enjoy some of these exclusive BTS photos of the cast and crew on location as well as a very special video featuring our own Anthony Larice (Loryn) and the new HIA mascot, Walter.
Make sure you look for us at WonderCon in less than 3 weeks where we will be premiering the pilot as well as selling our new sports logo zombie t-shirts and more!

We’ve got a lot of great news to talk about today, so sit back and enjoy what’s new in the world of ‘Help! I’m Alive…’.
It’s been nearly a year since we shot last year’s WonderCon Promo, and in that time a lot has happened with this project.
Most recently we have begun pre-production on our pilot episode with plans to shoot later this month in Los Gatos, CA. Rehearsals and prep have begun in earnest.
With WonderCon 2012 quickly approaching, we’ll be premiering the pilot at WonderCon this year in Anaheim, CA.
With every project and production comes bumps in the road and always unexpected problems that can delay and offset deadlines and wreak havoc on an otherwise smooth process.
As an indie production we are no strangers to this and were presented with a big problem when the actress playing one of our main characters had to bow out.
With just over a month until shooting was to begin we were left with no “Sydney” character.
While a lot of people would see this as the beginning of the end, we instead saw it as an opportunity to go back and re-cast one of the most integral characters of the entire series.
We auditioned a handful of actresses and within just a couple of weeks have chosen our new “Sydney”.
We’re very happy to introduce you all to Aleks Eydelman who will be portraying “Sydney” in the show.
We are all very excited to be working with Aleks and can’t wait for you all to see her, and the rest of the cast, in the pilot episode.
Most recently HIA was asked to return to The Geek Speak Show to talk about what we’ve got going on in the new year.
Creator & Producer Anthony Larice, along with Director & Producer Justin Berger, joined Henry & Romo to discuss WonderCon, zombies, characters, comics and merch.

Again, make sure to see us at WonderCon 2012 in March for the world premiere of our pilot episode!
Thanks as always to all of you for your continued support of the project.
We are very excited as we prepare to shoot later this month. We’ll have plenty of behind-the-scenes video and photos for everyone, so keep checking back here at HelpImAlive.tv, at Facebook and of course follow us on Twitter.
If you want to support the show more directly, please check out our Merch Page and buy a t-shirt or sticker!
Until next time survivors…
THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported us as well as all of you who stopped by our booth.
We will definitely be returning to WonderCon next year -- but in the meantime please check out our site and click on the Media tab to see photos and video from the booth as well as the video interviews!
